Jules Oakes

Jules Oakes is a British born, Berlin based comedian, writer, and actor who has performed across Europe. Her 2026 Edinburgh Fringe debut, "Jules Oakes: Fragile" received acclaim from critics and audiences alike.

Jules spent 12 years working in the tech industry, and began comedy in 2018 as a way of countering the soul destroying nature of her day job. Her comedy blends absurdity with sincerity, and has been described as "heartfelt" and "weird ass shit", a combination she's proud to have achieved.

Jules is currently preparing for a 2027 European tour, working on two podcast, and developing a new solo show, tentatively titled "Human Devolution". In the meantime, you can find her performing around Berlin, or catch up with her across social media platforms of varying degrees of evil.

Outside of her comedy career, you'll find Jules learning to garden, experimenting with food preservation techniques, and generally preparing for the upcoming apocalypse.
